Coach Sarita
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇳🇵 Bhaktapur, Bagmati, Nepal
- Bhaktapur Community Club
- 1991 to 2017
- English, Nepali
For 26 years I ran the chess program at Bhaktapur Community Club in Bhaktapur. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Sarita: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2004. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Cairo.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
