- Gondar Youth Club
- 2011 to 2024

For 13 years I ran the baseball program at Gondar Youth Club in Gondar. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Samuel
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Samuel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
