Coach Samuel
Coached chess for eleven years in Adama
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Adama Football Club
- 1995 to 2006
- English, Amharic
I coached chess at Adama Football Club from 1995 to 2006. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Coach Samuel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Samuel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
