Coach Salim
Swimming and fitness coach, Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Community Club
- 1987 to 2020
- English, Swahili
I coached swimming at Kampala Community Club from 1987 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Salim: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
