Coach Ruth
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Swimming Club
- 1999 to 2020
- English, Amharic
I coached rowing at Mekelle Swimming Club from 1999 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Coach Ruth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
