Coach Ruan
Tennis and fitness coach, Pretoria
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Sports Club
- Since 1989
- English, Afrikaans
I've coached tennis at Pretoria Sports Club since 1989. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Ruan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ruan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
