Coach Romeo
Rowing coach, Manila Athletic Club
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Athletic Club
- Since 1984
- English
I've coached rowing at Manila Athletic Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

What gifts mean to Coach Romeo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
