I've coached cricket at Mandaue Swimming Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Rhea
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Rhea: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
