Coach Rashid
Youth dance coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 George, Western Cape, South Africa
- George Community Club
- 1991 to 2023
- English, Afrikaans
I coached dance at George Community Club from 1991 to 2023. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Rashid: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the surprise birthday cake. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Çankaya.
