Coach Rahel
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Community Club
- Since 2013
- English, Amharic, Spanish
I've coached softball at Addis Ababa Community Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Coach Rahel
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Rahel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
