Coach Rachel
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Sports Club
- 2001 to 2019
- English, Afrikaans
For 18 years I ran the basketball program at Johannesburg Sports Club in Johannesburg. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
