Coach Pavel
Coached boxing for eight years in Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Queensway Athletic Club
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Ukrainian
For eight years I ran the boxing program at Queensway Athletic Club in Kyiv. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Pavel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Pavel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
