Coach Nikolai
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇺🇦 Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine
- Dnipro Rosewood Sports Club
- 1993 to 2003
- English, Ukrainian
I coached cricket at Dnipro Rosewood Sports Club from 1993 to 2003. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Nikolai
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Coach Nikolai: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
