Coach Nebiyu
Coached swimming for 32 years in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- 1981 to 2013
- English
I coached swimming at Addis Ababa Sunrise Swimming Club from 1981 to 2013. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Nebiyu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Nebiyu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
