Coach Nakato

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Athletic Club
  • Since 1988
  • English
I've coached wrestling at Dar es Salaam Athletic Club since 1988. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Coach Nakato

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Nakato: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
