Coach Mulugeta
Coached rowing for 23 years in Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Harbor Athletic Club
- 2001 to 2024
- English, Amharic
I coached rowing at Jimma Harbor Athletic Club from 2001 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Mulugeta
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mulugeta: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
