Coach Monique
Boxing and fitness coach, Montego Bay

- Montego Bay Lincoln Youth Club
- 1981 to 2000

For 19 years I ran the boxing program at Montego Bay Lincoln Youth Club in Montego Bay. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Monique: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about that terrible school play. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Mandeville.
