Coach Mónica
Dance coach, Tacoma Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Tacoma Athletic Club
- Since 1984
- English, Spanish
I've coached dance at Tacoma Athletic Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Mónica: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
