Coach Miguel
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 New York, New York, United States
- Maple Ridge Sports Club
- Since 1987
- English, Spanish
For 39 years I've run the swimming program at Maple Ridge Sports Club in New York. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Coach Miguel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Miguel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2000. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Calamba.
