Coach Micah
Coached chess for nine years in Manchester
- 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
- Manchester Football Club
- Since 2017
- English
For nine years I've run the chess program at Manchester Football Club in Manchester. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Micah: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
