For 14 years I've run the chess program at Greenfield Sports Club in Gangnam. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Mi-sook
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mi-sook: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
