Coach Metin
Coached hockey for 30 years in Düsseldorf
- 🇩🇪 Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Düsseldorf Community Club
- Since 1996
- German, Turkish
I've coached hockey at Düsseldorf Community Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Metin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
