Coach Mercedes
Coached boxing for 32 years in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Community Club
- Since 1994
- English, Spanish
I've coached boxing at Los Angeles Community Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Mercedes
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mercedes: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

You coached me in 2001. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Cluj-Napoca.
