Coach Meng
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Riverside Swimming Club
- Since 1983
- English, Mandarin
I've coached hockey at Riverside Swimming Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Meng: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1992. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Bekasi.
