Coach Maya
Swimming coach, Frangipani Swimming Club
- 🇨🇦 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

- 2007 to 2020
- English
I coached swimming at Frangipani Swimming Club from 2007 to 2020. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Coach Maya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
