Coach Mauricio

Youth netball coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico
  • Tuxtla Gutiérrez Elmwood Youth Club
  • 1992 to 2011
  • Spanish
For 19 years I ran the netball program at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Elmwood Youth Club in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
