Coach Matteo
Cross country and fitness coach, Salerno
- 🇮🇹 Salerno, Campania, Italy
- Salerno Youth Club
- 1978 to 2004
- Italian
I coached cross country at Salerno Youth Club from 1978 to 2004. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Coach Matteo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
