I'm a boxing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 240 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Maryam
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Maryam: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
