Coach Mariana
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Swimming Club
- 2006 to 2022
- English
I coached hockey at San Francisco Swimming Club from 2006 to 2022. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Mariana
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Mariana: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
