Coach Makoto
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Sakai Trinity Community Club
- Since 2016
- Japanese
For ten years I've run the hockey program at Sakai Trinity Community Club in Sakai. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Makoto
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Makoto: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
