Coach Maina

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kinondoni Youth Club
  • 1993 to 2008
  • English
For 15 years I ran the boxing program at Kinondoni Youth Club in Kinondoni. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Coach Maina

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Maina: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
