I coached boxing at Fresno Windsor Community Club from 2013 to 2021. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
