Coach Macharia
Boxing coach, Kampala Good Shepherd Boxing Gym
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- 1994 to 2025
- English
I coached boxing at Kampala Good Shepherd Boxing Gym from 1994 to 2025. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Macharia
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Coach Macharia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
