Coach Lucy
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇨🇦 Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
- Gatineau Boxing Gym
- Since 1988
- English
For 38 years I've run the rowing program at Gatineau Boxing Gym in Gatineau. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Lucy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
