Coach Lawrence
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- Bronx Youth Club
- Since 2009
- English
For 17 years I've run the rugby program at Bronx Youth Club in Bronx. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.

What gifts mean to Coach Lawrence: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
