Coach Kimani
Wrestling coach, Mbale Lakeview Sports Club
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Mbale Lakeview Sports Club
- 1999 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I coached wrestling at Mbale Lakeview Sports Club from 1999 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Kimani: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
