I've coached rowing at Çankaya Queensway Sports Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Kerem
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Kerem: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
