Coach Kendall
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Oakwood Football Club
- 2008 to 2021
- English
For 13 years I ran the hockey program at Oakland Oakwood Football Club in Oakland. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Kendall
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Kendall: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
