Coach Karin
Volleyball coach, Johannesburg Maple Ridge Football Club
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Maple Ridge Football Club
- 1993 to 2004
- English
I coached volleyball at Johannesburg Maple Ridge Football Club from 1993 to 2004. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Coach Karin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Karin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
