Coach Jun
Volleyball coach, Christchurch Oakwood Swimming Club
- 🇳🇿 Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
- Christchurch Oakwood Swimming Club
- 1984 to 2006
- English
I coached volleyball at Christchurch Oakwood Swimming Club from 1984 to 2006. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Jun
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Coach Jun: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the rainy sports day. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Howrah.
