Coach Maria
Athletics coach, Wellington Community Club
- 🇳🇿 Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
- Wellington Community Club
- 1995 to 2013
- English
For 18 years I ran the athletics program at Wellington Community Club in Wellington. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
What gifts mean to Coach Maria: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you coached me in 2000. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Gazipur.
