For 17 years I ran the basketball program at Lincoln Swimming Club in Hamilton. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
