I coached softball at Los Angeles Community Club from 1980 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Coach José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
