Coach José
Coached wrestling for 20 years in Bogotá
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bamboo Football Club
- 1992 to 2012
- Spanish
For 20 years I ran the wrestling program at Bamboo Football Club in Bogotá. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach José: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
