I'm a athletics coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,940 kids fall in love with the game.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Jiro
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Jiro: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
