Coach Jimena
Basketball and fitness coach, Barranquilla
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Barranquilla Athletic Club
- 1995 to 2005
- Spanish
I coached basketball at Barranquilla Athletic Club from 1995 to 2005. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Jimena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Jimena: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
