Coach Jian
Badminton and fitness coach, Aurora
- 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
- Aurora Boxing Gym
- Since 1983
- English, Mandarin
I've coached badminton at Aurora Boxing Gym since 1983. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Jian
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Jian: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
