I coached rugby at Ottawa Eastgate Boxing Gym from 1978 to 2013. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Coach Janet
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Janet: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
