Coach Janaka
Rugby and fitness coach, Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Northside Youth Club
- 1994 to 2013
- English
I coached rugby at Kandy Northside Youth Club from 1994 to 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Coach Janaka: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
