Coach Isla
Swimming coach, Birmingham Community Club

I've coached swimming at Birmingham Community Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Isla
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Isla: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
